Description
Size – 1/4” , 5/16” , 3/8” , ½” , 5/8” , ¾” , 1” , 1-½” , 2' 2-1/2'
A high pressure hydraulic hose pipe is designed to handle extreme pressure in demanding hydraulic applications, often exceeding 4,000 psi and going up to 10,000 psi or more in some cases.
🔧 High Pressure Hydraulic Hose – Key Features:
Reinforcement:
Typically 4 or 6 layers of spiral-wound high-tensile steel wire.
Designed to withstand impulse loads and pressure spikes.
Common Standards:
SAE 100R12, R13, R15
EN 856 4SP / 4SH
Special ultra-high-pressure hoses may follow ISO 18752 or OEM specs.
Pressure Ratings:
R12: Up to ~4,000 psi
R13: Up to ~5,000 psi
R15: Up to ~6,000+ psi (even higher for small sizes)
Ultra-high pressure hoses: Can reach 10,000+ psi
Temperature Range:
Generally -40°C to +121°C (-40°F to +250°F)
Some hoses go higher with special synthetic covers or PTFE linings.
Applications:
Mining and tunneling equipment
Construction and earth-moving machines
Hydraulic presses and power units
Offshore oil & gas rigs
Water jetting or hydroblasting systems
